Harding Waterfront Estates Wedding
Mordern Renaissance Inspiration
This February, I attended a styled shoot workshop hosted by Artiese Studios. I love starting off my season with something a little different - it helps me get those creative juices flowing again! I have always loved going to school, and I really miss it! So I try to attend one workshop a year not only for continuous education, but also to experiment with new techniques and push the boundaries of my craft. The biggest bonus is getting to meet some sweet people who share in the same passions!
I loved the colour scheme and mood of this shoot! Blues/gray-ish blues are capturing my heart this year. I need some ocean in my life!! Minimalism has also been a big thing for me this year. both in work and life. It's not simply about simplicity. It's about an understanding of what is valuable. It helps me to focus on the important things and not be distracted by the noise. When applying this in my work, I find that it creates stronger imagery for story-telling. I also find myself drawn towards more masculine motifs. It creates a pleasing balance with the (mostly) feminism aesthetics of a wedding.
Hope you find joy and inspiration in these images!
